More Reason$ to Green Your Lighting
The U.S. is moving away from a carbon-based economy and making new rules to enforce that trend. The Federal government offers tax credits and other incentives as part of broader green building assistance offered by a growing number of state and local governments programs. Government entities that have developed green building programs include the states of California, Colorado, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin; Alameda (CA), King (WA), and Cook (IL) counties; and numerous cities, including Austin and Frisco (TX), Boulder (CO), Portland (OR), Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and San Jose (CA), Scottsdale (AZ), and Seattle (WA).
